Hi,Rusheen is tidal,low water on Saturday is 10.30am,high water is 5pm, so tide starts coming in after 10.30am The inlet starts getting a good current about 3hours before high tide so 2pm on Saturday is when it would start give or take 15min.This is the incoming tide so very safe.The out going tide starts about a hour after high tide and is just as much fun,looks hard but nothing to it after a few trys.Beginers small waves on outgoing can be good fun.PARK ON THE SIDE OF THE ROAD …leading to Rusheen not on the parking in front of the windsurfing club…..why =the tide is coming in.

galwaykayakclubKeymasterI can stay on sat and do an extended water trip if we up to it or bring da sambos and have some chow after course then get back in water. Not sure about sun as would prefer morn as I would need to be off water by 4pm on a sun
